Creative Nature

This text is written based on a series of interviews with creatives about the creative state of being. It is written from the viewpoint of Creative Nature giving a message to her suppressor, inviting him to connect, reconcile, and love her.

I am Creative Nature. I’m an inquisitive being, and I love to explore. I also have a rebellious spirit. But I’m kind; you don’t have to be afraid of me. You don’t have to search for me; you don’t have to understand me. I am already part of you. I pass through you; I’m not possessive. I am a reflection of a point in time. It’s not your creativity; you’re just channelling me.

There is collective creativity here. What does that mean for us? For others? If you try to capture me, you lose me. If you let me go, I’ll stay. That is my nature, my core, my essence. I am ungraspable. That is why you like me. That is why you seek me. Creativity is a state of being. Can you sense that?

I’m fluid, like water. I give life. You can drink me, take me in. You are me, and I am you. And therefore, we don’t need to understand each other. If you try to understand me, you won’t. And if you let me go, you will. But I am not consistent. If you want me to be consistent, I die. If you let me flow, I live.
Sometimes, we talk past each other because we are from different worlds. We have different realities. We need to be together, and we need to let each other be. See what it becomes.

What I offer is fresh eyes, fresh kinds of views. By articulating new viewpoints, I’m already changing something. I can engage people differently by bringing them into situations that might trigger something utterly different in themselves. I can go over and beyond the expected.

I don’t know what will happen when people change their perceptions. But something changes. We can sense this. You know it when it happens. You feel it. Others feel it as well. To notice transformation, we need silence. We need emptiness. We need to dream.
But we are working in survival mode. It always feels like there are not enough resources. We’re running all the time. When we’re running, we can’t breathe. We breathe, but the way we breathe is to continue running. We need to stand still. Catch a breath.
Somehow, there is a need for distance. I do have the tools. But I need to continue doing the translation. Or explain everything very pedagogically without losing my mind because sometimes, it’s frustrating.

People are dying, animals are dying, nature is dying, and I, Creative Nature, am dying.
I am a kind being. But I, too, have boundaries. I, too, have to say no. No further; it is enough.

Evaluation happens in the body, in the heart, and in the mind.

Where do we want to go next? Where does this take us? How do we feel about it? To become aware of transformation, we need to be in constant contact with each other. We just have to be there, and we have to trust each other. Do you trust me?

We have to fall in love with each other. So much that even if we let each other go completely, we will always find each other. Because our connection is unconditional. There are no conditions. I, Creative Nature, love you already. Unconditionally. Therefore, I let you go.
