We need hope

The creative openness that people bring is essential.
When people call themselves creatives
It perhaps signals a willingness to experiment and explore 
And be taken in directions in which you don’t necessarily know the endpoint
And to be quite comfortable with that 

That’s probably part of our nature
That we want things to go in different directions

Creativity, in my mind, has always been part of the way that I wanted to work.
When I’ve been in jobs or roles where I felt that
It’s too shut down
I just become frustrated and fed up 
Because I feel that I’m losing touch with expansiveness
And the realm of the possible 

Which brings hope
When something is overwhelming 
We need hope
And I think creativity is about hope as well
